Frisco Heritage Museum

Last January 12, the third graders of Robertson Elementary School got to visit Frisco Heritage Museum which is located at 6455 Page St., Frisco, TX.

My daughter really had a great time learning about what life was like for the earliest settlers of Frisco area – how they lived, worked, and played. According to her, the fun hands-on learning opportunities at the museum transported her back in time to personally experience Frisco's rich history.

Whether you are a long time resident or new to the area, this museum is an ideal place to spend an hour or two to learn about the history of the rapidly growing town of Frisco. Check it out!

Who Says Texas Does Not Get Snow??? Check These Photos...

It was raining really hard when we left for church around 11:15am of Sunday, January 9, 2011. By the time the mass was finished, huge snowflakes were falling and the ground was a solid white blanket. It was so beautiful!!!

This is one of the many reasons why I love Texas. It has almost the same weather as the Philippines but it does snow once or twice a year, just giving us the chance to  have fun in the snow without the hassle of having piles of it to clear from the sidewalks and driveway. ;)
